Fire Walk Charity Event
Thirty people walked over hot coals to raise money for a little girl whose bravery has inspired many to do courageous acts.
Walking over embers burning at more than 1,200 degrees Farenheit in bare feet is not something to be taken lightly but Darren Broad from Potential Plus Ltd joined another 29 people to do exactly that in order to raise money for little Lydia Cross.
Chris Powell organised the event to raise money for Lydia Cross, a brave girl who had her legs amputated below the knee after contracting septicaemia when she was just two years old. Chris initially set out to raise £1,500 but more than £6,000 came flooding in, enough to pay for two new prosthetic legs.
